It’s not like I’ve done any monumental or radical web site designs since I got dropped into this career (yet), but I’ve certainly learned my way around the internets. I was talking to an old buddy who teaching himself how the internet makes your facebooks and twitters. My first website came up and it made me feel that twinge of nostalgia. Just like some folks break out their high school year book, I decided to dig through my old school assignments and I was able to dig up my first full site, The Alloy Film Festival.

What a travesty. It’s so…blue. Jesus. I know at this time I didn’t know anything about using images and graphics to compliment a design, but…wow. Also, if you look at the source code, you’d see that the menu is hand-coded on every page. Oh, Past Eric, if only I could go back and talk to you. There’s so much I could warn you about. Like, how the healthier you eat, somehow the more weight you gain. It doesn’t make sense. You’re lucky this was your first web site mistor, or you’d have some explaining to do.
